Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers seeks a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant I to support patient care in assigned clinics. You will assist with clinical and clerical duties, document in the EHR, and help guide patients through the appointment process in a fast-paced environment.

Under DOCS supervision, you will work with providers, maintain infection control, and perform duties ensuring accurate records and smooth patient flow. Bilingual skills are a plus, with CPR/BLS required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Medical Assistant Certification within ninety days of hire.
• CPR and BLS required.
• Bilingual skills are preferred when available.

Aufgaben

• Fulfill patient care responsibilities, check schedules, greet patients, and prepare for provider encounters.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient’s electronic health record under established procedures.
• Assist with telephone follow-up and follow the patient plan of care as directed by providers.
• Aid with clinic maintenance tasks, instrument prep, and equipment checks per protocol.
• Provide translation services upon management request and support clerical duties as needed.
