Job summary

Loenbro LLC in Westminster, CO seeks an Estimator III to lead complex pursuits with minimal supervision, integrating work packages and guiding the estimating team on projects up to $50 million. This role requires advanced judgment, QA/QC, and collaboration with key stakeholders.

The position involves risk/constructability analysis, bid strategy, and mentoring junior estimators, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and cost history.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction estimating experience with mechanical, structural, and industrial focus.
• Advanced estimating capability for self-perform estimates from conceptual to final bid.
• Experience estimating self-perform scopes including light civil, concrete/structural, piping.
• Ability to lead estimate planning, quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong knowledge of labor productivity, pricing, indirect costs, and general conditions.
• Ability to interpret detailed drawings and specifications across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of complex plan-and-specification pursuits.
• Integrate work packages and validate quantities, pricing, and schedule assumptions.
• Lead risk, constructability, contingency, and value-engineering analysis.
• Direct quotation strategy, bid leveling, scope reconciliation.
• Lead estimate reviews and peer QA/QC for moderate risk.
• Coordinate with clients, Operations, Procurement, and Business Development on scope and pursuit strategy.
• Mentor junior estimators on pursuit assignments.
• Contribute to cost history, benchmarks, and process improvement.
• Support turnover and lessons-learned activities.
