Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Estimator II to independently develop estimates for routine and defined scopes on more complex work. This role plans estimates, validates quantities and pricing, evaluates quotations, and prepares defensible proposal deliverables.

Typical project values up to $25 million, with variation by scope and risk. The role requires collaboration with Operations, Procurement, Business Development and vendors, and may involve travel to offices or sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience, mechanical/structural focus.
• Ability to produce complete self-perform estimates for mechanical/structural work.
• Experience with process piping, steel, concrete, and related scopes.
• Knowledge of labor, material pricing, indirect costs, and bids.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute plan-and-specification and design-build estimates.
• Develop quantities, labor productivity, pricing, and indirect costs.
• Evaluate quotations for scope, exclusions and pricing.
• Resolve routine design and risk issues and document assumptions.
• Prepare pricing deliverables and participate with cross-functional teams.
