BENCHMARK is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Shift Supervisor in Westlake, Texas. This full-time position requires strong skills in HVAC and supervising maintenance teams to ensure high-quality results. The role involves completing maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance, and providing training and performance management.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• Two years of related experience (HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen, laundry, etc.) required.
• Understanding of building systems and equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen, laundry.
• One year of experience supervising or leading a team preferred.
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams desirable.
• Knowledge of, and use of, a service ticketing system preferred; HotSOS experience desirable.
• Texas driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Must be 21 or older due to vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests submitted by guests or employees for general maintenance issues within the hotel.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems throughout the hotel.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient work and high quality results.
• Conduct inspections of work performed.
• Assist with training, motivating, and supporting maintenance technicians.
• Provide performance management for maintenance technicians, including positive and corrective feedback.
