Job summary

Manufacturing-Maintenance-Solutions- is seeking a highly skilled Facility Senior Maintenance Technician to act as the primary HVAC expert on the 3rd shift. The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems with little to no direct HVAC support, including rooftop units and air handling equipment.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC certification and 5+ years of industry experience, with strong knowledge of HVAC controls, refrigeration, and energy management.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required and EPA refrigerant knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems independently.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical systems, motors, drives, thermostats, and refrigeration.
• Comfortable reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HVAC subject matter expert for 3rd shift.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
• Respond to HVAC emergencies with minimal supervision.
• Perform advanced maintenance on rooftop units, air handlers, compressors, condensers, chillers, and related systems.
• Maintain system performance and energy efficiency; monitor refrigerant handling per EPA/regulations.
• Lead repairs, troubleshooting, and improvement projects; document in CMMS.
• Support facility upgrades and energy-efficiency initiatives.
