Job summary

Westlake in Brownsville, TN, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant Supervisor to lead daily maintenance and repair of production and facility equipment, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operations.

This onsite role requires 2–5 years of maintenance experience with prior leadership, ability to read hydraulic and electrical prints, CMMS/PLC/robotics know-how, and willingness to work 7am–4:30pm with possible overtime and on‑call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred.
• 2 to 5 years maintenance experience.
• Prior leadership roles in manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to read English instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading maintenance employees.
• Evaluate / determine activities and materials for equipment repair.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules.
• Plan resource requirements and work activities for repairs and PM.
• Generate maintenance work orders.
• Lead efforts to optimize technicians' time.
• Track status of open work orders and update Maintenance Manager.
• Lead safety and compliance; correct hazards; follow OSHA requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
