Job summary

Capstone Search Advisors in Dallas, TX seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the 3rd shift maintenance team and drive safe, efficient production. You will oversee repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery and facility systems to support regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, leadership, and experience with CMMS, with attention to quality and downtime reduction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience leading or supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of maintenance planning processes.
• Understanding of asset reliability and equipment lifecycle best practices.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing regulations, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, and EPA standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CMMS systems.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective leadership skills, including coaching and team development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and daily work assignments.
• Partner with the Maintenance Planner to prioritize and assign work orders effectively.
• Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance is completed on time and meets quality standards.
• Adjust priorities to support production needs and minimize downtime.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and labor records.
• Promote a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and cGMP standards.
• Support cost control initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Uphold food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
