Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and utility piping design.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• Proficient with mechanical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and application to project work.
• Extensive knowledge of building and infrastructure design.
• Experience with rehabilitation, new design, and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the site, surveys, blueprints, schematics, data, and reports for project development, design, and construction.
• Apply high-level mechanical engineering techniques to identify improvements across project phases.
• Perform professional mechanical engineering work and inspect site conditions for conformance with codes and permits.
• Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinate with owners, disciplines, sub-contractors, and clients.
• Manage mechanical design and construction for building and infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
