Trane Technologies seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of CDU platforms for data centers. You will guide projects from concept through production, applying advanced thermodynamics and fluid dynamics with cross-functional teams.

The role demands 10+ years in industrial mechanical design, CAD expertise (Creo/SolidWorks/Inventor), and strong GD&T knowledge to deliver durable, high-performance solutions that meet ASME and related standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10+ years in industrial mechanical design and full lifecycle product development.
• Strong knowledge of ASME piping and data center standards.
• Experience in HVAC or industrial equipment environments.

Responsabilidades

• Own mechanical architecture for new skidded and modular CDU platforms for datacenters.
• Lead mechanical design from concept through release to manufacturing.
• Apply thermodynamics and fluid dynamics to pumps, pipes, valves, and manifolds.
• Collaborate with CFD/FEA, electrical, PLM, controls, and systems engineers.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, UL/CSA, and other standards; travel ~5–15%.
