Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Mechanical Project Designer in Charlotte, NC to lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems on commercial and multifamily projects. You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and ensure solutions meet IMEG standards and client goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior staff on high and moderate complexity projects, adherence to budgets and schedules, and a focus on high-performance energy-efficient design aligned with industry

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations to code requirements and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather project requirements and build client relationships.
• Support consulting projects with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling tasks.
