Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an experienced assembler to plan and perform mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection on a range of products. You will use production sheets, blueprints, and verbal instructions to choose methods and sequences, while maintaining daily production targets.

The role requires at least 4 years of related experience and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience in manufacturing.
• HS Diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 4 years of experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations.
• Maintain hourly production to meet daily plans and ensure standard work procedures are followed.
• Determine methods and sequence of assembly using sheets, blueprints, and schematics.
• Provide work leadership to lower-level assemblers and help communicate goals.
