Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking an Aircraft Seat Assembly Technician to join our onsite production team. You will perform sub-assembly, installation, and final adjustments on aircraft seating components following detailed drawings and work orders. The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent (or 2 years experience), ability to read blueprints, operate hand tools, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; or 2 years relevant experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings.
• Proficient with a range of hand and power tools.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and component assembly with bonding and riveting.
• Install and adjust aircraft seat components per drawings and orders.
• Interpret trim and finish drawings and follow instructions accurately.
• Set up fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment for precision work.
• Assemble, fit, and adjust metal and plastic details to structures.
