Job summary

RTX is seeking a 2nd shift assembler in Wilson, NC to learn setup, assembly, and loading of parts with basic tools. You will read procedures and routing, ensure quality, and participate in continuous improvement while rotating through workstations.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with at least 4 years in manufacturing, good reading skills, and willingness to work overtime. Safety and EH&S practices are emphasized on site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with minimum 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, assemble parts and load parts using hand and machine tools.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and work instructions.
• Maintain quality standards and identify defects; escalate as needed.
• Support continuous improvement, participate in audits and training as required.
• Keep work area clean and organized and rotate through stations as needed.
