Job summary

RTX is hiring for a second-shift assembler in Wilson, NC. You will set up, assemble, and load parts, using hand and machine tools. You will read procedures and schematics, ensure quality, and participate in cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

This onsite role requires standing 8+ hours and may include overtime. Manufacturing experience is preferred, with CRC being advantageous; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or vocational/technical education.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and drawings.
• Willingness to stand 8+ hours and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools.
• Read procedures, routing, and work instructions and follow them.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and identify defects.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Rotate through stations as needed and complete assigned tasks.
