Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Mechanic for on-lease shops in Prudhoe Bay, AK, with a remote/rotational schedule. Typical workweek is 84 hours, including overtime. Meals, lodging, and transport between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay are provided, along with a robust benefits package.

You will supervise crews, plan workloads, inspect equipment, and ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met on heavy and light machinery. Experience with diesel, hydraulics, and electrical systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a mechanic in heavy equipment dealership or industrial maintenance.
• Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience, directing a crew of five or more.
• High school diploma or GED.
• NSTC certification training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and technical direction to work crews.
• Schedule daily workload and assign resources.
• Inspect work and materials for specifications compliance.
• Perform craft duties as required.
• Mentor and provide feedback to team members and new employees.
• Visit all areas of responsibility and job sites daily.
• Maintain safety and productivity observations and training compliance.
• Operate and inspect heavy equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Assist with diagnostics, repair, rebuild and maintenance of equipment.
