Job summary

Worley is seeking a Light Duty Mechanic for Prudhoe Bay, AK on-lease shops with a rotational schedule. The role involves 84 hours per week (40 straight time, 44+ overtime) with meals and lodging provided and transportation from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay included.

On-site work includes diagnosing and repairing Ford Super Duty trucks, with safety and environmental responsibilities emphasized. The position requires troubleshooting skills, engine knowledge, and the ability to work in harsh Arctic

Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience as a journeyman-level light duty mechanic in construction, dealership, military, or oilfield industries; or 3 years via trade school automotive tech.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
• NSTC certification training offered by Worley if needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on Ford Super Duty/F-Series trucks, vans, and Expeditions with minimum supervision.
• Operates and inspects vehicles or equipment to diagnose defects and perform repairs.
• Work on fuel, electrical, hydraulic, drive train and other systems using standard tools and equipment.
• Prepare paperwork and describe failures and repairs for warranty purposes.
• Performs work in shop or field as needed.
• Support Ram Trucks and Ford Super Duty vehicle repairs.
