Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Mechanic for On-Lease Shops in Prudhoe Bay, AK, operating on a remote, rotational schedule. The role oversees heavy and light equipment maintenance and provides daily supervision and technical direction to field crews.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inspections, repairs, and safety training compliance, with meals and lodging provided on site and transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay arranged.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a mechanic in heavy equipment or industrial maintenance.
• Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience, directing an average crew size of five or more.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
• Experience working with remote North Slope operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and technical direction to work crews.
• Schedule daily workload and assign resources.
• Inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications.
• Perform craft duties as required.
• Mentor and provide feedback to team and new employees.
• Ensure safe work practices, toolbox talks, and safety training compliance.
