Job summary

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Owns hand and air/electric tools to complete repairs.
- Ability to drive and operate multiple vehicles and equipment.
- Mastery of Mechanic B and C-level tasks.
- Proficient with computerized diagnostic tools and fleet management systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead fleet maintenance operations to keep equipment on the 'ready line'.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Herc-owned fleet.
- Diagnose engines, electrical, hydraulic, propane and fuel systems.
- Inspect and test equipment and ensure safety standards.
- Produce detailed service reports and repair logs.
- Mentor Mechanic B and C technicians.
