America's Heartland Packing is seeking a Lead role to provide direction and support ensuring all tasks and objectives are completed. The role involves understanding department tasks, using tools to safely dress carcasses, and communicating effectively to resolve production issues while maintaining sanitation standards.

The position emphasizes safety, PPE usage, reliability and the ability to stand and work around moving equipment. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in humid, hot, wet, slippery conditions around moving equipment with PPE.

Responsabilités

• Provide direction and support to ensure all tasks and objectives are completed.
• Knowledge and understanding of all tasks within the department.
• Use a hook, knife and equipment to safely and properly dress carcasses.
• Communicate with employees and management to resolve production issues quickly.
• Remove any visible contamination when present.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures.
