Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar in good standing or eligible to waive in.
• Minimum of 8 years of significant mass tort experience, including at least 3 years in law firm litigation.
• Claims resolution experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, medical devices, or consumer products.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple teams and streams.
• Familiarity with matter management systems and AI-enabled claim review platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support settlement negotiations in complex product liability, mass tort, toxic tort, and consumer product cases.
• Develop settlement structures and eligibility criteria.
• Serve as primary legal and operations lead for settlements and claims administration.
• Draft, review, and finalize settlement documents; resolve claimant disputes or appeals.
• Manage teams of nurse paralegals and other attorneys for claim qualification and categorization.
• Perform data analysis on claims to monitor values and trends across settlements.
• Oversee all aspects of settlement implementation, workflow, and quality assurance.
