The ideal candidate has 8+ years in mass torts, strong drafting skills, and experience coordinating teams across litigation and settlement administration. This position is based in the United States and involves working with firm Partners to resolve thousands of claimants.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the local state Bar, or eligible to waive in.
• Minimum of 8 years of substantive experience practicing law, focusing on mass torts including toli (toxic torts) and pharmaceuticals/devices.
• Experience in claims resolution for pharmaceutical/medical device/mass torts preferred.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple teams and work streams.
• Familiarity with matter management systems and claims platforms; AI-enabled review tools preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating settlement documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support settlement negotiations in complex product liability, mass tort, toxic tort, and consumer product matters.
• Help develop settlement structures and eligibility criteria.
• Serve as primary legal and operations lead to ensure settlements are executed efficiently and lawfully.
• Draft, review, and finalize settlement documents and resolve claimant disputes.
• Manage nurse paralegals and attorney teams reviewing and categorizing claims.
• Perform data analysis on claims values and trends across settlements.
• Oversee settlement implementation, workflow, and quality assurance.
