Job summary

BlackSea Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer for in-person work in Curtis Bay, MD. The role leads multidisciplinary engineering efforts, translating objectives into executable technical plans and guiding work from definition through design, integration, testing, and delivery.

Project Engineers own the engineering schedule and coordinate across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Software, and Systems teams to deliver integrated electromechanical solutions while managing risk and meeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years leading multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience delivering design, integration, test and delivery of complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to lead across mechanical, electrical, controls, software and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and technically lead work involving multiple engineering disciplines.
• Define engineering scope, break work into tasks, and estimate effort.
• Identify required skills, resources, milestones and procurement needs.
• Manage engineering schedule and track progress against milestones.
• Represent the project to customers and suppliers as needed.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly, integration, testing and field demonstrations.
