Job summary

BlackSea Technologies in Baltimore is seeking a Mid-Level Field Engineer to lead field engineering activities, ensuring readiness, integration, and operational performance of GARC systems deployed in fleet environments.

This role involves advanced troubleshooting, system validation, documentation, and deployment oversight during sustained overseas deployments lasting 90-120 days, followed by ~30 days in CONUS before the next cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering support or field engineering.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical/electrical/control-system issues in fielded systems.

Responsibilities

• Field Engineering Support: lead field engineering to sustain readiness and mission effectiveness.
• Integration & Testing: lead system integration and validation during harbor and on-water operations.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: diagnose issues and drive corrective action with engineers/operators.
• Documentation & Reporting: produce technical docs, test logs, and field reports.
