Russell Marine LLC in Channelview, TX is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead the preparation of accurate, competitive cost estimates for marine construction projects along the Gulf Coast. You will review specifications, perform take-offs, analyze costs, and develop detailed bid proposals.

Qualifications

Experience in construction estimating, cost analysis, and bid preparation.
Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and take-off tools.
Knowledge of marine construction methods, equipment, and safety regulations.
Ability to lead and mentor an estimating team and coordinate inputs.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Gulf Coast or similar markets bidding processes.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the estimating team on multiple bids.
Coordinate with operations, project management, and engineering to validate methods and schedules.
Solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers; support contract negotiations.
Maintain historical cost data and improve estimating tools.
Develop detailed bid proposals and ensure alignment with safety and quality standards.
