Job summary

International is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Lead for the S13 Assembly in our Huntsville Engine Plant. The role focuses on leading manufacturing processes, implementing changes, and ensuring safe, efficient production on the floor.

The candidate will design production flows, benchmark processes, and drive capital projects while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Strong CAD skills and MES/ERP familiarity are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in product manufacturing.
Master's degree and at least 1 year of experience in product manufacturing.
At least 5 years of experience in product manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Support S13 Diesel Engine Assembly Line to meet customer demand.
React to equipment uptime issues and drive permanent, cost-effective solutions.
Design and develop manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment.
Standardize manufacturing processes by benchmarking other facilities.
Assist in achieving plant quality and production objectives.
Lead engineering changes and new program developments.
Perform product/process analysis for safety, ergonomics, quality improvement and efficiency.
Initiate and pursue capital appropriation projects.
This role involves long periods of on-floor standing.
