Job summary

International in Huntsville is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our onsite Powertrain Plant. You will develop, implement, and improve manufacturing methods and sequences for parts and assemblies, and collaborate with Design Engineering to support new product introductions.

This 2nd shift role (Mon-Thu, 7:00 PM–6:30 AM) offers opportunities to influence production decisions, drive continuous improvement, and deliver high-quality products safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 1+ year product manufacturing experience or master's degree with no experience or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Experience machining CGI, steel and cast iron; knowledge of cutting tool design and tooling setup.
• Ability to work onsite on 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 7:00 PM–6:30 AM) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and sequences for parts and assemblies.
• Partner with Design Engineering to support new product introductions and transitions to production.
• Drive operational excellence and solve complex manufacturing challenges in a fast-paced plant.
• Influence production decisions and ensure safe, high-quality, efficient manufacturing.
