Job summary

International in Huntsville is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our onsite Powertrain Plant. You will develop, implement, and improve manufacturing methods and sequences for parts and assemblies, and collaborate with Design Engineering to support new product introductions.

This 2nd shift role (Mon-Thu, 7:00 PM–6:30 AM) offers opportunities to influence production decisions, drive continuous improvement, and deliver high-quality products safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 1+ year product manufacturing experience or master's degree with no experience or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Experience machining CGI, steel and cast iron; knowledge of cutting tool design and tooling setup.
• Ability to work onsite on 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 7:00 PM–6:30 AM) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, influence key production decisions, and play an important role in delivering high-quality products efficiently and safely. Relocation assistance not available for this role.

This is a 2nd shift position (Monday–Thursday, 7:00 PM–6:30 AM) supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment where innovation and continuous improvement are valued.

In this role, you'll develop, implement, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and operational sequences for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You'll partner with Design Engineering to support new product introductions and ensure a smooth transition from concept to production.

Experience machining CGI, steel, and cast iron, along with knowledge of cutting tool design and tooling setup and management, is highly desired.

We're looking for candidates who have a bachelor's degree and at least one year of product manufacturing experience, a master's degree with no prior experience required, or at least three years of product manufacturing experience.
