Job summary

International Motors, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Lead – S13 Assembly in Huntsville to oversee engine assembly processes and drive improvements on the S13 line. The role combines hands-on floor support with engineering leadership to meet production goals.

The candidate will design and implement manufacturing improvements, manage capital projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the assembly line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in product manufacturing.
• Master's degree with at least 1 year of experience in product manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of experience in product manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support S13 Diesel Engine Assembly Line in day-to-day production activities.
• React to equipment uptime issues and drive towards permanent, cost-effective solutions.
• Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment.
• Standardizes manufacturing processes by benchmarking other facilities’ manufacturing processes.
• Assist in the accomplishment of plant quality and production objectives.
• Lead implementation of engineering changes and variations from design specifications as well as new program developments.
• Perform product/process analysis for safety/ergonomics, quality improvement and improved efficiency.
• Initiate, develop, and pursue capital appropriation projects.
• Active on-the-floor support requiring standing for long periods.
