Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to support classified component manufacturing techniques for coatings, non-conventional machining, composites, and assembly work for next-generation engine programs.

You will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs, manage complex issues, and help industrialization of the value stream while applying Lean principles and leading Manufacturing Readiness Projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (or HS Diploma with 4+ years in Quality Systems).
• 3+ years of Quality Systems experience (AS9100, NADCAP).
• CAD modeling experience with Unigraphics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing processes for classified hardware.
• Lead and provide technical direction to projects with significant business impact; document rigorously.
• Drive data-driven analysis with quality tools; protect IP; lead by example on site.
