GE Aerospace is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer in Evendale, OH to advance the development and industrialization of classified component manufacturing techniques for Next Generation engine programs. You will integrate processes across Coatings, Non-Conventional Machining, Composites, and Assembly, guiding teams and ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets are met.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing quality systems (AS9100/NADCAP), CAD modeling
Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will support the manufacturing development of classified component manufacturing techniques for Coatings, Non-Conventional Machining, Composites, and Assembly work for Next Generation engine programs. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and help industrialization & maturation of the value stream.
