Job summary

Nevada HAND in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to supervise on-site maintenance activities and ensure the property stays in excellent condition. The role focuses on repairing, maintaining, and improving building systems, with emphasis on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC and pool certifications and at least six months of property maintenance experience, plus ability to work with staff, vendors, and residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of property maintenance experience.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• HVAC certification and pool certification must be obtained to progress from Assistant to Lead Technician.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and work log documentation daily.
• Perform maintenance on gates, light fixtures, doors, windows, laundry facilities, pool equipment and appliances.
• Notify Senior Technicians of supplies or parts needed.
• Perform cleaning duties as needed.
• Paint interior and exterior areas according to industry standards.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, vendors, and residents.
• Follow safety program and assist in budget-related maintenance expenses.
• Be available for on-call backup and coordinate with other staff.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances and major equipment.
• Ensure compliance with laws and property policies.
