Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor in Las Vegas, NV to lead a maintenance team and uphold quality standards across the community. You will manage daily tasks, safety practices, and preventative maintenance, while coordinating with management on budgets and capital improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of technical experience in plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC, plus prior supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license. On-call emergencies are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of direct technical work experience in plumbing, carpentry and HVAC.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of maintenance employees and ensure safe work practices.
• Supervise maintenance staff: interview candidates, train new hires, conduct reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document findings in logs.
• Review and delegate work orders promptly.
• Conduct regular property inspections.
• Monitor community mechanical equipment and grounds upkeep.
• Ensure service requests are handled promptly and courteously.
• Support budget preparation for maintenance projects and capital expenditures.
• Operate within approved budget allocations.
• Communicate professionally with management and staff.
• Respond to guest concerns with respect, and attend training programs.
• Assist with capital improvement projects and special maintenance tasks.
• Provide on-call emergency services as required.
