Equity LifeStyle Properties in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure adherence to company standards across plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repair. You will coordinate work orders, perform regular property inspections, and participate in annual budgeting for maintenance projects.

The role requires overseeing staff, ensuring safe work practices, and responding to guest concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of direct technical work experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.
• Previous supervision experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of maintenance staff and ensure safe work practices.
• Interview candidates, train new employees, conduct performance reviews, and recommend disciplinary actions if needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document findings.
• Review and delegate work orders in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular property inspections.
• Monitor and maintain community mechanical equipment, including water heaters and HVAC units.
• Assist with annual budgets and capital expenditures for maintenance projects.
• Operate within budget and allocate maintenance funds accordingly.
• Communicate with management and staff professionally.
• Respond to guest concerns with respect and courtesy.
• Attend training programs and participate in community activities.
• Assist with capital improvement projects and on-call emergency services.
