Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician in the Philadelphia area to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas to meet our high standards of cleanliness, appearance and safety.

You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, the make-ready process for new residents, inventory control, and documentation while supporting cost-control and safety initiatives across the property team.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local jurisdiction certifications as required for technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance ensuring safety and code compliance.
• Makes the 'make-ready' process for vacant apartments, prepares punch lists, and coordinates vendors.
• Manages materials, tracks inventory, and documents work for proper record-keeping.
• Assists in grounds and common area upkeep, cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts instead of replacements when feasible.
