Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee property upkeep under the Community Manager. You will perform repairs in resident units and assist in preparing vacants for rent, while supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with vendors.

The role requires at least two years in apartment maintenance or a related trade; EPA certification and a valid driver’s license are essential. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of full‑time apartment maintenance experience or a trade with basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• English verbal and written communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant, transition, and recovery certification.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform HVAC repairs and maintenance.
• Handle light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Make-ready refurbishing of apartments prior to occupancy.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with the Community Manager.
