Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician III to lead a shift, maintaining materials handling equipment and automation systems at a client facility in Griffin, GA.

You will diagnose, repair, and optimize conveyors and related equipment, mentor technicians, and ensure safe, reliable operations while coordinating with the client and CBRE teams. Strong PLC/SCADA knowledge and CMMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and Safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, and industrial electronics.
• Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
• Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
