Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support building systems, repair and maintain material handling equipment and robotic systems at a client facility. You will contribute to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement of operations.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, documentation, and teamwork with CBRE’s facilities staff to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations across the site.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to solve problems and follow general instructions in routine maintenance, repairs, preventative measures, emergency responses, coordination, and safety compliance.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ ladders.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
