Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee the property's maintenance under the Community Manager. You will perform repairs in resident apartments, assist in making units ready for rent, and supervise maintenance tasks to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC, plus a valid driver's license and basic tools. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time apartment maintenance or a trade requiring basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Replace filters and clean HVAC vents; maintain sprinkler systems.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed.
• Assist in refurbishing apartments prior to occupancy (make-ready).
• Supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and inspections of units, buildings, and common areas.
