Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Saugus, MA, to oversee maintenance operations across apartment communities. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances, while ensuring safety and timely completion of work orders.

The candidate will mentor Technicians I and II, perform preventative maintenance, and keep the property in optimal condition to deliver an exceptional resident experience. On-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• HVAC certification (CFC) or willingness to learn required.
• Able to operate on-call schedule in rotation with the team.
• Capable of reading policies and SDS; understands PPE and safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and related systems.
• Create, organize, and complete work orders; ensure timely repairs and safe operations.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including cleaning and repairs.
• Train and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II; mentor team members.
• Perform preventative maintenance and daily site inspections for safety and upkeep.
