Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Chestnut Hill, MA to ensure the safety, comfort, and overall functionality of our apartment communities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, while leading Maintenance Tech I/II staff and overseeing preventative maintenance.

With 3+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on-call, you will contribute to delivering exceptional resident living

Qualifications

3+ years of maintenance experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs.
Valid driver’s license required.
HVAC certifications (CFC) or willingness to learn.
Ability to operate in a team and handle on-call rotation.
Strong communication with residents.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances and related systems.
Create and organize work orders; complete repairs timely.
Prepare vacant units including cleaning and turnover tasks.
Train and oversee Maintenance Tech I/II staff.
Perform preventative maintenance on apartments.
Inspect grounds and buildings daily for upkeep needs.
Maintain safety culture and perform hot work per standards.
