Job summary

The Maintenance Technician supports the C.H. Guenther & Son manufacturing sites in Texas by conducting preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, document work, and ensure safe, hygienic operations in a food-manufacturing environment. You will work with cross-functional teams, follow GMP/HACCP standards, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical schooling is preferred.
• 5 years of related experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably automated food processing.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, packaging, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimize downtime and schedule repairs.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards per GMP, HACCP, and OSHA.
• Document maintenance activities and update work orders in the CMMS.
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks.
