The role combines hands-on maintenance with safety and sanitation responsibilities, including GMP, HACCP, OSHA compliance. You will perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, packaging gear, and refrigeration, diagnose issues, and implement repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
• 5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably automated food processing.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery (conveyors, packaging, refrigeration).
• Inspect, lubricate, adjust, diagnose, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergency maintenance during production and support root-cause analysis.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the production area; follow GMP/HACCP/OSHA.
• Document maintenance work orders, parts, and equipment history; train staff as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks.
