The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and leadership to mentor a team of technicians. Responsibilities include responding to breakdowns, performing changeovers, and ensuring compliance with GMPs, GDPs, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Electrical & Mechanical certification or 2 years equivalent in each discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a lead maintenance mechanic or foreman in manufacturing.
• Must read blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics with strong problem solving.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, multi-task, and work shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and directs maintenance staff to complete shift work.
• Trains, mentors, and enforces safety and workmanship standards.
• Responds to machinery breakdowns and supports daily plant operations.
• Performs machine set-ups and changeovers for different products.
• Reports issues with machinery and personnel and enforces GDPs and GMPs.
• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems and repairs to line.
