Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a maintenance technician to support our Daddy Ray facility. Directly responsible for repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting in new machine installations to assure safety, efficiency, and productivity.

Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of welding, PLCs, and GMPs are required. This on-site role requires 3+ years of consumer product maintenance experience, willingness to work multiple shifts including weekends, and a proactive

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a consumer product manufacturer.
• 3+ years of welding, PLC, preventative maintenance and fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work multiple shifts, including some weekend work.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment and building functions used in daily operations.
• Assist in installation of new machinery and equipment
• Fabrication of parts and equipment
• Identify design enhancements to improve reliability with vendors and engineering
• Report unsafe equipment to supervisor and take corrective action
• Advise management of equipment/building issues
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Guide maintenance technicians in repairs
• Support after-hours maintenance calls
• Work independently on various projects assigned by Manager/Supervisor
