Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair critical processing equipment at the Daddy Ray facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, assist in installing new machinery, and collaborate with engineering to improve reliability.

You’ll work across shifts, support after-hours calls, and mentor junior technicians while upholding food safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a consumer product manufacturer.
• Experience with welding, PLC, preventive maintenance, fabrication.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work multiple shifts, including some weekend work.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment and building functions used in daily operations.
• Assist in installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Fabrication of parts and equipment.
• Identify design enhancements to improve equipment reliability with vendors and engineering.
• Report unsafe or broken equipment and take immediate corrective action.
• Advise Manager on potential equipment and building issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Guide Maintenance Technicians in repairs.
• Assist supervisors with after-hours maintenance calls.
• Work independently on projects assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
