Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team in Long Island City, NY. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring units are rent-ready.

You will work on preventative maintenance, safety, and daily property inspections, contributing to exceptional resident experiences at our 180,000+ unit portfolio. This is an on-site role with a focus on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC repair, electrical and plumbing.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to parametrize and communicate with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances.
• Assist with organizing work orders and complete repairs on schedule.
• Ensure vacant units are rent-ready with turnkey work.
• Mentor and oversee Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect grounds daily.
• Maintain safety culture and follow company policies.
