Job summary

Trex Company in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in a high-safety, operations-driven environment. You will oversee daily maintenance tasks, coordinate with the supervisor, manage vendors, and drive preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires advanced maintenance experience (Technician III/IV or 5+ years), strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to develop SOPs and training material.

Qualifications

• Must currently be Maintenance Technician III or IV or have 5+ years in a maintenance department.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills are required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
• Motivated team player with strong project management and vendor coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety performance and adherence to company policy.
• Track attendance, perfect attendance, and vacation via Kronos; maintain time/vacation in ADP.
• Develop, coordinate and assign daily maintenance repair tasks.
• Maintain records and equipment repair information.
• Maintain acceptable housekeeping within the maintenance department.
• Coordinate daily with the Maintenance Supervisor on activities and requirements.
• Foster effective employee relations and teamwork.
• Monitor team performance and completion of tasks.
• Schedule repairs, preventive and predictive maintenance, and vendor service.
• Lead maintenance technician training and develop technical competence.
• Assist in developing SOPs and standard work operations.
• Communicate with parts department on procurements and spare parts inventory.
• Assign technician time to work orders using the JDE CMMS system.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance program.
• Attend operations/strategy meetings in the absence of Maintenance Supervisor.
