Job summary

Trex Company in Little Rock, AR is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our composite decking manufacturing facility. This hands-on role requires extensive experience across multiple plant utility systems beyond a single-discipline focus.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot boilers, chillers, pumps, PLCs, and other equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist engineering with improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial utility systems such as boilers, air compressors, hot oil, chillers, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; safety-first mindset.
• Preferred experience with extrusion equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical systems: weight feeders, conveyors, hot oil, steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment.
• Repair electrical/electronic systems including servo controls, sensors, and combustion equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and ladder logic.
• Fabrication, machining, and facility maintenance for equipment.
• Manage parts inventory; research parts required.
• Support engineering in new products and processes.
• Maintain clean, safe plant appearance and housekeeping.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, control wiring, and PLCs.
