Job summary

Trex is seeking a hands-on Lead for our Little Rock, AR facility to supervise hourly production staff, uphold safety and quality standards, and coordinate material flow. You will ensure adherence to SOPs, train team members, and maintain accurate data entry across production systems.

The role requires forklift certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with internal inventory and tracking systems.
• Certified on forklifts (up to G50).
• Must be able to work within large scales of data (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and guiding hourly team members and ensuring SOPs are followed, including 6S compliance.
• Reinforce safety rules, PPE adherence, and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring progress and ensuring materials/resources are available.
• Monitor product quality and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Serve as communication link between hourly team and salaried supervisors; relay updates and escalate issues.
• Work with training team to deliver training to new and existing employees.
• Act as backup in absence of salaried supervisor or others.
• Other duties as assigned.
