Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician for Alta Wren in Cary, NC. The role focuses on maintaining building systems, completing work orders, and ensuring safety and compliance across the property.

You will perform make‑ready tasks, manage inventory, and assist with groundskeeping while following Greystar policies. The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license for property duties.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required for certified technicians.
• State and Local certifications as required by jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects, repair per safety standards and codes.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
• Manage materials, inventory, and re-ordering with maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and perform cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Assist in cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts.

Education

EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant recycling

State and Local certifications as required

Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property
